New York: Thomas Y. Crowell Company, 1958. First Edition, Third Printing. Hardcover. Very Good in Good dust jacket. 24 x 16 cm. Octavo. 331 pages. Black cloth in dust jacket. All corners of dust jacket flaps are clipped. Stain to the front of the jacket. Illustrated with over 200 photographs by Audrey Alley. There is glue residue to the inside front and back cover under the jacket flaps. Rubbing to the edges of the boards. An uncommon early edition with glossy paper stock allowing for higher quality reproductions of the photographs. Important reference work for the professional magician.
