Theyare located in Geneva, New York, in the Finger Lakes Region. Originally, Hobart was a men�s only college, and Smith was exclusively for women. Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell, the first woman to receive a medical degree, graduated from Hobart�s precursor, Geneva Medical College.
