Reprint of a complete set of 8 issues of this important periodical on the graphic arts, which first appeared between 1946 and 1948. Contains well illustrated articles by Stanley Morison, Ruari McLean, Percy Muir, A. F. Johnson, Harry Carter, etc. Topics include book illustration, type design, printing, typography, lettering, Reynolds Stone, Claude Lovat Fraser, Robert Gibbings, Eric Gill, etc. Profusely illustrated in b/w, including several fold-out plates. Complete with errata slip, laid-in. Uniformly bound in the original yellow cloth, stamped in bright green. Reproduction of an Eric Gill? drawing on the spine of each volume. Oversize Hardcover. Each volume meaures 8" wide by 10" tall by 1.25" thick. This heavy 2 volume set will require extra postage for Priority and International shipments.
