Barre, VT: Biblioteca Circolo Studi Sociali, 1906. 107, [iv]p., staplebound booklet, 4.5x9 inches; wraps worn, chipped, and beginning to split along spine, rust at the staples, otherwise very good. Text in Italian. Cover art depicts a man fending off a vulture. Includes articles both on and by many of the anarchist writers of the period, and of course a couple of freethought articles. Barre, home of Italian-American stone and marble cutters, was the location of one of the earliest New England anarchist groups (est. 1894). During this period Luigi Galleani was the leader of the group.
