Spine very slightly faded, minimal edge rubbing and prev owners name (dated 1915) on front free endpaper. An early account of the First World War with particular reference to Belgium and the effect of the German invasion there. The author, an American correspondent, urges America to abandon its neutrality based on his observations of the war. A most attractive example.. Second Printing. Hard Cover.
