This is the original 1966 issue on vinyl of ALLEN GINSBERG READS KADDISH, A 20th CENTURY ECSTATIC NARRATIVE POEM, Atlantic Records 4001, Verbum Series, which presents a recording of Ginsberg's reading at Brandeis University on November 24, 1964. In nice gatefold sleeve, which features a RICHARD AVEDON photograph of GINSBERG to front, and a photo at rear of Allen Ginsberg and his mother at the 1939 New York World's. Inside the gatefold is an essay from 1966 by Ginsberg. A Very Good Plus Vinyl Record in Near Fine Gatefold Sleeve. Sleeve shows small area of wear/bumping at top right corner, otherwise a clean, bright and solid cover, beautifully designed for Atlantic Records by Marvin Israel. This copy also has the original illustrated Atlantic Records paper inner sleeve. .
