Richard Lewis (b. 1935) founded the Touchstone Center for Children in New York City in 1969, which has been a leader in the arts and education field, focusing on the relationship between poetry, the imagination and the natural world. Ed Tse-chun Young (b. 1931) is a Chinese-born American illustrator and writer of children's books. For his work he has received high recognition, including a Caldecott Medal, two Caldecott Honors, multiple Boston Globe-Horn Book Awards, the Washington Irving Children's Choice Book Award, and the 2016 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Society of Illustrators.
