Color frontispiece -- coffee branches, flowers, and fruit. Contains preface to second edition, acknowledgements, foreword, history of coffee, cultivation and factory preparation, scientific discussion of coffee (etymology, botany, microscopy, chemistry, pharmacology), coffee commerce and merchandising, social manners and customers, coffee in literature and fine arts. Appendices include Chronology of Coffee, Dictionary of Coffee, Coffee Bibliography and Coffee Thesaurus, followed by an index. Tiny bump to one corner. Stain shadow on half-title that appears to be from material stored in book. No writing inside. Hinges sound. Appears unread. An extraordinary book for the coffee-lover. Very good condition.. Second Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good. Illus. by Illustrated. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
