About This Item
Chicago: Rand, McNally & Company, Publishers, 1896. Hardcover. 331p., plus lengthy index and publisher's ads, plates as called for including three monochromes (measles &c), first edition bevelled boards in green cloth lettered gilt and black, pocket in back for a ready-reference pamphlet; unfortunately, this pamphlet is lacking. Slightly edgeworn with several minutely frayed points, top and fore edges are foxed, textblock shows two incipient cracks and we have strengthened a more seriously cracked front hinge with archival-grade glue; a good to very good copy. Please note, lacks pamphlet. Find on the front pastedown a small label advertising Boericke & Runyon Co's homoeopathic pharmacy located 231 Sutter Street San Francisco.
