Chicago: The University of Chicago Press, 1930-1932. 1st Edition . Near Fine. 9.5 x 11.75 inches (24 x 30 cm). Signed by Author. Complete two volume set. Lacking jackets. Quarter brown buckram with tan buckram boards. Slight rubbing to corners and lower edges of boards, otherwise in first class condition throughout. Part I includes six colour plates, two fold-out maps, numerous other illustrations and plates. Part II has a colour frontis plus illustration within the text. From the private collection of renowned British archaeologist Sinclair Hood. Signed by Hood to front pastedown endpaper in both volumes (as MSF Hood). A nice association copy and in excellent condition. We also have the 1928/29 season from the same collection available. Overall condition is Near Fine.
