New York: Random House, 1946. Two hardcover books with decorated boards - ALICE has blue cloth spine with gilt and LOOKING GLASS has red cloth spine with gilt. The books and binding are clean square and tight but the spines have a bit of shelfwear and have been sunned. Cardboard slipcase with pastedown is in good structural condition but is soiled and spotted - did its job protecting the books! The book interiors are overall clean and tight with some foxing.. Illus. by Tenniel, John and Kredel, Fritz. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Hardcover. Near Very Good/Slipcase - Good Condition.
