London, William Heinemann, Ballantyne Press, (1907) 1st edition. Hardback, Approx 8 x 6 inches. Rebound in half morocco green leather with original green cloth covers, with gilt “Griffon and Mock-Turtle” design to front. Pictorial green endpapers. In good condition. Some minor fading to spine, some rubbing and bumps to corners. A few marks and lightened on rear cloth board. Inside some foxing throughout. Plates are all clean and bright, all with titled tissue guards. Binding nice and tight. Else a good clean and tight first edition copy. 162pp. Complete With 13 full-page colour plates, and many b&w illustrations, full-page and within text.
