Reprint 1950 (first published in 1932), French text, 235 x 214 mm, 9¼ x 8½ inches, blue and pink illustrated card covers, (24) pages. 11 beautiful full page lithograph illustrations which are actually 2 different images, 1 pale orange, 1 pale blue. When viewed through red or blue cellophane in the VIEWER (lunettes) supplied, only 1 or other of the 2 images appears. E.g.: hen sitting on her eggs or hen feeding hatched chicks; little black boys playing on the beach under a palm tree or Esquimo children playing in snow. Staples slightly rusty, very slightly worn at head and tail of spine, small light crease to top corner of upper cover, original viewer still present in pocket inside upper cover.
