The First Settlement of Canterbury, VG minimal spots of rubbing to tips, spine gilt slightly worn, light browning to eps, minimal insect flecking to cloth at edges of paste downs, one page minor damage to margin, fep has following inscription in india ink "with the compliments of the chairman and councillors Akaroa County Council J Hayward Chairman April 1944". Scarce and rare with the inscription. 396pp+ plates Bagnall J32. association copy. First Edition. Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7? - 9? tall.
