Some wear to the covers, contents clean and tight. . 2nd printing (as indicated by the code ending in 143 on the title page) just a few months after the first. An uncommon 1942 manual (marked "proof edition" on title page) of an aviation training program offered to the Boy Scouts of America at the beginning of the Second World War. Illustrated throughout with photographs, maps and drawings. Both the first and second printings were limited to 10,000 copies each. Glossary, bibliography, index. vii, 442 pp.
