An uncommon 1942 manual (marked "proof edition" on title page) of an aviation training program offered to the Boy Scouts of America at the beginning of the Second World War. Illustrated throughout with photographs, maps and drawings. Both the first and second printings were limited to 10,000 copies each. Glossary, bibliography, index. vii, 442 pp.
