The text is illustrated with black-and-white photographs, maps and illustrations. Green coloured cloth covered boards with black coloured embossed titles to the front panel and back strip. A biography of the Roman citizen Agricola, and of the events in his life, as the legate of the 20th Legion under Cerialis in Britain, of his return to Rome and eventual return to Britain as its governor. The text is in Latin. Softening and rubbing to the back strip edges, with rubbing of the book corners and lower book edges. A little flecking to the lower book edges. Age toning to the text block edges and pages. Offset tanning to the endpapers. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 175, [1] pages,. Text is in Latin. Please refer to accompanying picture (s).
