About This Item

The first game was in 1894. Texas had a football budget of $100, A&M didn't even have a team. There are a ton of archival photographs and great football stories. There's a lot of high jinks, too. Scores from the last 86 years. The book is bumped on the corners and has a gift inscription on the front free fly leaf, but the pages are clean and unmarked. The dust jacket has edge wear and shelf wear including some small tears. There is a half inch of paper loss on the back top cover. The author has signed on the front free end page (no inscription).

About mark mcdonald

Book collector for over 30 years. I'm retired and ready to sell. I buy almost exclusively from estate sales and since I've lived in Dallas my whole life, I know the people and where to go. I am a low volume collector and seller and deal in higher quality books. I have a lot of signed and inscribed books. These signatures have not been officially authenticated, but I am confident in their authenticity so I will guarantee them in perpetuity if it can be reasonably demonstrated that the signature is incorrect. .
