Quarto. 86 (3)pp. Original photo-illustrated dustjacket over blue quarter cloth with red lettering on paper-covered boards. Illustrated with 40 striking full page b/w photographs of African Negro sculptures. Represented in this collection of the finest and most typical specimen from the collection of the author are tribes from French West Africa, Portuguese Guinea, Sierra Leone, Gold Coast, Nigeria, Cameroon, French Equatorial Africa, Belgian Congo, Angola, and Tanganyika. Text in Dutch and English. DJ rubbed with moderate wear and sunned along edges, chips, tears and at times repaired with clear tape. Binding sunned, particularly at top and foredge. Book block slightly age toned not affecting images. DJ and binding in overall fair, interior in good+ condition.
