Moderate cover soiling and wear (including evidence of a little adhesion in top margin of a couple of leaves). Includes "Adversity + Courage = Advantages," by Amy Jacques Garvey at pages 6-7, Her photo (black & white) appears on the front cover, The back cover displays a full page advertisement for the African Study Circle of the World directed by Ms. Garvey and located in Jamaica. The issue also contains "Abbe Henri Gregoire: Social Reformer and Nationlist Leader," by Eric Walrond, at pages 14-15. An Editor's Note to the Walrond article wrongly describes Walrond (1898-1966) as "the late" reporting that he had joined the Royal Air Force in England and was 'lost over Germany' on one of his bombing flights. The Editor's Note describes the Walrond article as prviously published in "The Black Man Magazine."
