They are tight, fresh, very clean and clear, conscientious, the illustrations are bright. 2: Series I - Volume 2: "Birds of Eastern and North Eastern Africa". Pub 1955. The front of the dj has been clipped out and pasted onto the front board. The boards have mild shelving wear about the edges, some very mild sunning and handling marks. They are healthy and sure. 1099 pages plus indexes. The contents are most pleasing. They do have mild evidence of ownership and wear about the corners, they are otherwise very clean and clear, convivial, diligent, companionable, the illustrations are fresh.
