"This Report is based on two years' research work carried out at the Dunlop factory at Durban by the Department of Economics, University of Natal. It deals with the behaviour and performance of the African worker in the factory, and with the influences, outside of working routine and factory discipline, which shape behaviour patterns and affect performance." .
