The volume is bumped on the spine ends, has light foxing on the fore and bottom edges of the text block, and there is a bit of a spine cant. The unclipped dust jacket, protected in a sleeve, is restored at spine and flap fold ends and along top edge of rear panel, with color added at recto. It has light edge wear, with wrinkles, a small abrasion near the spine crown, and shows the repaired closed tear on the top of the rear panel. The clue index bound in at the end of the text is complete and unbroken. Author's first mystery.
