A look at the state of technology of aeronautics in the mid 20th century, anticipating the changes in trade, culture travel and politics that could occur as the result of then recent innovations. This includes a look at the innovation in technology developed by the military, including jet propulsion and aerodynamics, as well as applications in the commercial sector. GOOD condition. Moderate general fading, minor soiling and light scuffing. Moderate to heavy chipping and small tears along the extremities. Minor fading soiling and edgewear to the book. Light toning to the paper in the interior.
