London: W. Strahan, J Rivington and Sons,, 1784. Four volumes of this work not credited but is Tobias Smollett. Original publications from 1784 bound in half leather with marbelled boards, bound with illustrated frontispieces opposite title page in each volume, no half tilte pages bound in. Volume one 263 pages,volume two 298 pages, volume three 282 pages and volume four 304 pages. All volumes, coloured endpapers are marked,Volume 1 light water staining to edges of frontispiece, very occassional small marks to some pages, volume 2 few pages are foxed and very occassional light marks, volume 3 little light water staining to edges of frontispiece, a few very occassional small marks to a few pages,volume 4 foxing to last few pages some small marks to top of 14 early pages. Outer boards are rubbed a worn to edges and slightly to corners, spines are a little faded with some flaking to leather on volume 2 and 3 see images, Images of faults can be taken on request. Though not perfect still pleasing examples of these books SEE IMAGES. DETAILED IMAGES AVAILABLE ON REQUEST . Reprint. Half Leather/ Marbeled Boards. Good Plus/No Jacket. 6¾ x 4 Inches. Hardcover.
