Printed in 1874, assumed first pirated US edition, 'tenth thousand' printing, published by Henry L. Shepard, this book is in fair condition. Text is clean save some thumbing and foxing, binding is solid with wear to edges, back hinge wearing, rubbing to back board, some discoloration, portion of top of spine cover is missing as seen in picture. Gift inscription in front of book (dated 1897). Really neat old book
