A few spots of edge foxing. Pp.xvi,[6],232 + 8pp adverts. The 12 illustrations (including colour) are all present but 3 are loose or starting to come loose. The author was engaged by a rubber company in 1903 "to go and find out the conditions on which the Indians of Challana would tap rubber for them".
