First Issue in the First Issue dust jacket with all the issue points. 8vo. - over 7 3/4 in. - 9 3/4 in. 536pp., bound in black and gray cloth with orange titles; orange topstain. Just a touch of light wear, else Very Good to Near Fine, in a Very Good dust jacket that has some edgewear, a chip to the top of the spine, and light tanning to the front and rear panels.
Synopsis
The Adventures of Augie March (1953) is a novel by Saul Bellow. It centers on the eponymous character who grows up during the Great Depression. This picaresque novel is an example of bildungsroman, tracing the development of an individual through a series of encounters, occupations and relationships from boyhood to manhood.
