Uniformly bound in cloth bindings. Externally in excellent condition, with some light shelfwear. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. A three volume set of works on Americana of Herschel V Jones. AMERICANA complete in two volumes with a supplementary checklist volume issued at a later date. With 300 photographic plates. Herschel V Jones was a publisher of the Minneapolis Journal for twenty years, and a noted book collector. He is best known for his collection of Americana. His collection of 1700 volumes, primarily first editions, covered 400 years of American history dating back to Columbus.
