With an introduction by Uffa Fox . With 44 color and 305 black and white illustrations which depict the fascinating array of various sailing ships. --- This oversize work (measuring 12.5 in. wide x 10 in tall) in full blue cloth-covered boards with spine titling in lighter blue, blindstamped compass image to cover. Unclipped jacket with wrap-around Adam Willaerts color painting. --- The covers are a little loose, otherwise a clean, firm copy. Jacket with a 1.5-inch tear to lower edge, with additional small creases and curling to edge, else bright, intact and protected in removable mylar wrapper.; Oblong Small Quarto (9 to 11 in. tall); 256 pages .
