Berkeley: W. & E. Bentley. 1939. First Edition . Hardcover. One of 450 copies of this hand tinted, limited edition, signed by the illustrator (Hans) and the printers, Wilder and Ellen Bentley. Good+ in cloth with hand tinted illustrations. The hinges are very fragile, and one blank sheet near the front is loose and laid in. A beautiful production, this copy has not survived unscathed. However, the interior pages are all present and intact. The front hinge is held only by the internal ties. There is some wear at the top of the spine, and light general soiling.
