Two bookplates (see below), otherwise near fine in very good, slightly nicked, sunned and edgeworn pictorial dust jacket. First edition. A properly deaccessioned special collections duplicate, inscribed by the author and the artist "For the Yale University Library, Memorabilia Collection William Rose Benet & Marjorie Flack November ll, 1941." With the bookplate of the Betts poetry collection on the rear pastedown (bearing a release stamp) and another bookplate, bearing another withdrawal stamp, on the front pastedown.
