[8], 1pp. SIGNED BY WILLIAM STYRON AND ROBERT PENN WARREN. This title was originally issued in 1978, with a frontispiece by Gabriel P. Warren and an "afterward by J.L.W. West, III," with eighteen pages of text. This 1981 "New Edition," printed on Arches paper, does not contain the frontispiece, or the 'afterward' by West. The 1978 edition was only signed by William Styron; this 1981 'New Edition' is signed by both William Styron and Robert Penn Warren.
