About This Item

The Alumni Association of the Utah Agricultural College, 1909. Leather. Fair - Cash. Suede leather bound Yearbook for Utah State University published in 1909. 'THIS Edition is limited to Three Hundred Copies, of which this book is No. 66(stamped)' Printed behind title page. Vibrant silver gilt lettering and illustration of Utah State tower on front and spine of cover. Photograph and introduction to Francis W. Brewer opposite title page with protective tissue paper. Photos and introductions to classmates and faculty throughout book. Looks like the suede leather was originally purple but the spine and edges have faded in color and are now a light brown from sun exposure. The back of cover has rectangles of where other books were against it and the sun faded the color around it. 1/2' piece of the suede is missing at the bottom of the spine. 1cm crack up the bottom of the spine. Heavy rubbing and bumping to corners and edges exposing hardboards. 1' piece of suede is ripped on the bottom left hand corner of back cover. Silver gilt and embellishments have been rubbed and starting to fade especially on the spine. 1/2' water markes on the bottom of the spine. Gutter before the forward page is cracked and exposes webbing. 1/2cm tear on outer edge of tissue paper and title page. No pages falling out. Crisp and clean pages with only minor soiling. Pages appear to be unmarked. Still in good condition for it's age. Stock photos may not look exactly like the book.

About The Book Garden

Just as the Tardis is bigger on the inside – you will just have to see it to believe! We have over 4000 square feet of as many books as we could sort, stack and tower housed inside this innocent looking storefront. We also have inventory off-site, so if you don’t see what you are looking for – just ask! Love the smell of books? Daydream about getting locked in the library? This is the place for you – located at the very center of downtown Bountiful. Selling gently loved books since 1985.
