All with wrappers. All volumes are illustrated with numerous b/w phootgraphs and maps and have photographic end papers. Gilt embossed lettering to the spines. Volume I has a light bump to the head and tail of the spine and a few faint soil marks to the boards, concealed under the wrapper. 2 slight soil marks to reverse of title page and one to contents page. Dust wrapper not price clipped with slight shelf wear to the wrapper edges. Volume 2 has a slight bump to one corner. Dust wrapper is price clipped and there is a crease to the head of the front of the wrapper and other slight shelf wear. 'See page 90' is written very neatly in biro towards tail of title page. Volume 3 has light bumps to the head and tail of the spine and to one corner and a bump to the lower edge of the front board. Dust wrapper is price clipped and has some creasing to the head of the spine and over one board corner. Light creasing to the head of the rear inner flyleaf where it stands slightly proud. Volume 4 has light shelf wear to the head and tail of the spine and a light bump to one corner. There are a series of small indentation marks to the front end paper which is reflected in the front paste down. Dust wrapper price clipped with light shelf wear to the head of the wrapper. Volume 5 has a slight bump to the tail of the spine. Dust wrapper price clipped with slight creasing to the head of the wrapper. Volume 6 has a couple of repaired cloth tears - both around 5.5cm in length - to the rear board with a little glue residue visible, concealed under the wrapper. The tail of the spine has been turned in. Dust wrapper not price clipped with minimal shelf wear. Volume 7 - light bump to the head of the spine and a couple of slight soil marks to the front end paper and paste down. Dust wrapper not price clipped with light shelf wear to the head of the wrapper. There is slight lifting of the laminate covering to the tail of the spine of the wrapper. Volume 8 - light bump to the tail of the spine. Dust wrapper not price clipped with slight edge wear. Volume 9 - light shelf wear to the head and tail of the spine and one corner slightly bumped. Dust wrapper not price clipped with minimal shelf wear. Volume 10 has perhaps a slight bump to the tail of the spine. The dust wrapper is nto price clipped and very well preserved.
