Vantage Press Inc. Near Fine in Very Good dust jacket. 1964. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Dust jacket has light edgewear, now protected by clear mylar sleeve. Book has owner name penned to first endpaper. The last word in the book, 'God', has been inked out by the author, replaced by the word 'gold', the final phrase now reading Oil, Black Gold -- a phrase that had been used previously in the book. What a place for a typo. . Thinly disguised autobiography written as a novel describing the life that the well-to-do author lived and observed when she leaves Indianapolis, Indiana with her husband to be part of the oil rush in Oklahoma in the early part of the 20th century. SIGNED BY AUTHOR on first endpaper. . 8vo - 8" to 9" tall. 246 pages. Signed by Author. D7 .

All books are well-protected with packing materials and shipped in a sturdy box. Shipments to locations in the U.S. include Delivery Confirmation. Packages to locations outside the U.S. are shipped well-padded in cardboard Global Priority flat-rate envelopes whenever possible.

Any book may be returned within 10 days for any reason, with prior email notice, for a full refund of the book's price. Condition of returns must be the same as when shipped. Cost of return postage will be paid by the customer, and book must be packed appropriately so that damage does not occur in the return shipment.
