About This Item

Stroud, Gloscestershire: Alan Sutton Publishing, 1995 I was walking with a purpose and it was, in fact, Belloc who had put this idea into mr head. I had first read his book 'The Four Men' in 1939 and instantly fell under its spell. The very idea of four men walking through the leafy lanes and deserted byeways of Sussex, from Robertsbridge in the east to South Harting in the west, was irresistibly appealing. 148pp illustrated in black and white. Book size 245x175mm.
