Near Fine in a Very Good jacket, unclipped ($3.00), lightly rubbed at the edges, a few small closed tears, toned and soiled at the back panel and flaps. Black cloth with gilt lettering and rules on the spine and front board. Square and firmly bound, foxed at the top edge, clean internally. Another Hemingway love story set in wartime Italy, this time with an aging war vet reflecting on his experiences during the first World War.
Synopsis
Across the River and Into the Trees is a novel by Ernest Hemingway. The title is derived from the last words of Confederate General Thomas J. (Stonewall) Jackson.
