True first edition Ace # D-162 with the original 35 cents on the cover. Condition: Very Good / Good. With micro chips to extremities, creases to covers, minor rubbing to corners on spine, light soiling to upper left corner typical of vintage pulp fiction paperback books of this age, otherwise barely read, pages are clean and binding tight. Hand signed on the title page of the novel Mars Monopoly by author and screenwriter Jerry Sohl. Additional novel bound in this Ace Double titled The Man Who Lived Foreverby authors R. De Witt Miller and Anna Hunger. Jerry Sohl was a science fiction author and screenwriter who wrote screenplays for episodes of The Twilight Zone, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, The Outer Limits, Star Trek, The Invaders and several feature films such as the Crimson Cult starring Christopher Lee and Boris Karloff. Cover art by Ed Valigursky and Stanley Meltzoff. As of this writing this is the only known first edition Ace Double of this title signed by Jerry Sohl available on the market. Classic pulp science fiction, signed collectible. 137 +183 pgs. 16mo.
