This engraving was used originally in a book in 1704 hence the removal of the inscription in the block beneath the society's coat of arms. The text includes an account of the settlements in New York, New England, Virginia; the experiences of missionaries; laboursamong the settlers and the Indian Tribes. Only 7 copies have appeared at auction since 1900. LACKING COVERS otherwise complete. A clean and crisp text block of arare item that has only appeared at auction. 1st Edition. V.g.. small 4to.
