Spines with five raised bands, leather title labels, gilt decorated compartments. Blue speckled page edges, marbled endpapers. Engraved frontis to Volume I, linen-backed fold-out map to Volume II. Light browning to half title page, frontis and final page of text in Volume I. Volume II has light browning to half title page and final page and also a few light marks to final page. Text is very clean throughout both volumes. Includes songs and music plus a vocabulary and grammar of the Tongan language. An excellent example. . Overall condition is Very Good Plus.
