About This Item

New Delhi: Asian Educational Services, 1990. Reprint. Hardcover. Good. Percival was in Ceylon at the end of the 18th century for three years, just as the British were consolidating their hold on the country. He introduces the readers to a brief history, but mainly concentrates on the current state of the island and the previous colonial rulers, the Portuguese and the Dutch. Good Hardback. Reprint. Originally published in 1803. 420 pages with a map in a pocket on the inside back cover. Weight: 1.0 kg Post free within Malaysia The cover has a few minor stains and a couple of bookseller's price stickers at the back. The hinge next to the title page is slightly cracked, but this does not affect the binding. The binding is tight, the text clear and there is mild tanning of the pages.
