Grigol Peradze was a Georgian theologian and historian, and academic scholar who discovered important manuscripts of Georgian Christian culture in Eastern and Central Europe. He supported the plight of the Jews during WW II, was arrested by the German Gestapo, and interred at the Nazi death camp at Auschwitz where he perished in the gas chambers on December 6, 1942. Soiling to front cover, and a bit of spotting within. Solid. Softcover original.
