The book provides a detailed description of Symes' journey to the Burmese capital, his meetings with the Burmese king, and his observations of Burmese culture, customs, and politics. Facsimile reprint of 1800 edition. 10" tall. xxiii, 503 pp. Red cloth. Binding shows some rubbing and is lightly discolored along spine. Minor soiling to edges of book block. Name pritned on ffep.
