Special Limited Facsimile Edition; Post 8vo; pp. [iv], x, 363, [2]; marbled endpapers, all edges gilt, silk bookmark, full leather binding, title lettered in gilt on spine, gilt design stamped on spine and boards, fine copy. Together with the associated booklet from the publisher titled "Notes From The Editors". This is a facsimile of the first edition of 1794. Between August and November of 1793, more than four thousand citizens of Philadelphia died of yellow fever. This book is not only a fascinating medical record but a social and personal one as well.
