By Philip Miller, F.R.S. Gardener to the Worshipful Company of Apothecaries, at their Botanic Garden at Chelsea, and Member of the Botanic Academy at Florence. The fifth edition, corrected and enlarged. Engraved allegorical frontispiece and 14 folding engraved plates. Thick 4to (11 x 8 3/4 x 2 5/8 inches), unpaginated. Contemporary full tan calf, spine gilt ruled on raised bands with burgundy lettering piece. Headbands slightly chipped, joints cracked but firm on cords. A very nice copy and clean internally.
