Contemporary morocco, gilt-stamped lettering in red and brown leather spine labels, gilt-stamped ornament in compartmented spine; 8vo; volumes 19-22 ONLY from a larger set; volumes 19-21 published by Hotel de Thou in 1780, volume 22 published by Laporte in 1786. Half-title page excised from all volumes; otherwise complete, with plates numbered 71-82 and (Laporte, vol. 22) 1-2; with folding table in volume 21; folding map in volume 22. Bindings heavily scuffed; joints cracked near spine tips, but holding. Internally nice and clean.
