Unclipped dust jacket with chipping on spine, 1/2" tear along edge on back panel. Binding is tight and square. Pages are clean and unmarked. Front end paper has image of Hand of Lincoln from a cast by Leonard Volk in Springfield, 1860. Back end paper has life mask of Lincoln by Clark Mills about February, 1865. 762pp.+over 1000 photographs.
Synopsis
The story of Lincoln's life from his inauguration in 1861 to his death and funeral in 1865. Awarded the Pulitzer Prize in History, 1940.
