Book is crisp and clean, with fresh pages and brilliant color illustrations. Binding is a little loose but still completely holding. Edges are lightly worn. Paper is very slightly tanning. Inked name of former owner on front free endpage and front pastedown page. Stories about everyday objects, many no longer very common, such as blotters, thimbles, drawbridges, and edam cheese. Striking color plates accompany many of the entries; black-and-white drawings accompany the rest. Illustrated endpapers. Folio. 51 pp. Large for international shipping. .
