Methuen & Co, 1927. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1927. First Edition. 224 pages. No dust jacket. Brown boards with blue cloth spine and title label. Map front endpaper. Illustrated by Hanslip Fletcher. Rough cut pages. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper and pre title page. Mild water staining to rear pastedown and a few pages. Occasional minor marginalia and underlining. A few edge tears and creases, as expected with rough cut paper. Boards have some edge wear, with moderate bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are slightly crushed and frayed. A bit scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Heavy brown mottling overall. Tearing, staining and some loss to spine label. Rear board slightly bowed.
