Although the vast majority of prisoners labouring in the Australian penal colonies came from England, Ireland and Scotland, men and women from a diverse range of places were represented including aboriginal convicts - from 1800 to the early1850s at least 90 from Australia, 34 from South Africa and 6 from New Zealand. This is the story of those aboriginal convicts. 298 pages with 16 colour plates and 6 pages of maps. Book in very good+ condition ex library with stamp on last page and light tanning. Cover stamp on spine and back.
